About me

Hello!

My name is Karen (aka “Kiki”).  I have very curly hair and growing up I did everything to straighten it.  Over the years I have spent a small fortune on hair gel, mousse and cream on a mission to find the right one for each curl strand. I can officialy say that each curl has been locked down and way easier to manage with today’s fantastic hair products.  The “marketer” inside me embraces those curls that used to rock my world as a child, because that’s how people remember me!  (I guess you could say that my hair is my Purple Cow for those of you that have read Seth Godin’s Purple Cow book.

I’m full of moxie, wickedly quick and incessantly inspired by all things pretty.  I love big Cabernets, hip hotels and creative cocktailing.  I have an addiction to jewelry and shoes.  I’m facinated with business, creative thinkers and get inspired by people doing clever things to promote their brand.

I love entertaining and being entertained.  I’m always up for a good shindig!  Dinner  parties, fancy cocktails and all the goodness.  My ideal party is a perfectly curated celebration that oozes creativity and sprinkled with unexpected details.

Growing up I was always enterprising.  I cut my teeth in the business world selling junk at the flea market on Sundays.  (I think I was 12).  From there it was selling cookies at the Saturday Market on my roller skates, making jewelry and a few baby sitting gigs.  I thought I hit the big time when I no longer filed the 1040EZ form.

I have always enjoyed working.  I’m in my element when I’m selling, crafting the perfect party, merchandising and creating over the top gift packaging.  It was through my gift packaging creations that landed me several high profile corporate clients that included NBA athletes, olympic medalists, a tennis great, a rock star and CEO’s of some of America’s top companies.  When creativity and opportunity collide, I ignite.

Currently? I inspire people to activate their ideas and promote their brand like nobody’s business!  (all this while wearing amazing jewelry and drinking delicious cocktails!)
